Ingredients

  • 225 g unsalted butter
  • 255 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 5 egg(s)
  • 290 g flour
  • 3 g baking powder
  • 1 pinch(es) salt
  • 3 tsp cocoa powder
  • 0.5 vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan-assisted).
  2. 2In a bowl, mix the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. 3Add the honey and mix again.
  4. 4Add the eggs, mix, then add the flour, baking powder, and finish with the salt.
  5. 5Divide the batter into two equal parts.
  6. 6Add the cocoa to one to get a chocolate batter, and stir the vanilla extract into the other for a flavored plain batter.
  7. 7Transfer both batters into two piping bags.
  8. 8In a previously lined pan, alternate strips of plain batter and chocolate batter.
  9. 9Create a marbled effect using a skewer, drawing zigzags through the batter.
  10. 10Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 160°C.
