- 400 g queso fresco
- 1 egg(s)
- frying oil
Instructions
Shaping the tequeños:
- 1Cut the cheese into small sticks.
- 2Place a wonton wrapper on the work surface.
- 3Place a cheese stick in the center of the wrapper.
- 4Dip the tip of your index finger in the beaten egg.
- 5Run the moistened finger along the edges of the wrapper.
- 6Fold the wrapper into a tequeño shape, making sure to seal the ends well.
Frying the tequeños:
- 7Heat the frying oil to 180°C in a saucepan.
- 8Gently drop the tequeños into the oil one by one.
- 9Fry for a few minutes until golden.
- 10Remove the tequeños from the oil.
- 11Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
To serve:
- 12Serve the tequeños hot with guacamole.
