About this dish
"Garlic bread" is a staple of convivial tables. Originating from Italian cuisine but widely adopted around the world, this simple delight usually consists of soft bread, often a baguette or a ciabatta, generously coated with a mixture of melted butter, sliced garlic, and sometimes chopped parsley. The key to its popularity lies in the balance between the crunch of the golden crust, obtained after a brief bake in the oven, and the softness of the inside, infused with the powerful aromas of garlic. Some variations add grated cheese, which melts and browns to perfection. Served as a side to Italian dishes like pasta or lasagna, or simply as an appetizer, garlic bread is a must for fans of garlic and Mediterranean flavors.
