About this dish

Guacamole is a culinary preparation of Mexican origin, made from mashed avocados, enhanced with various ingredients depending on the recipe and region. Traditionally, guacamole includes avocado, lime juice to keep its vivid color, fresh cilantro, tomato, onion, and jalapeño pepper. These ingredients are finely chopped and mixed to obtain a smooth, thick consistency. Sometimes garlic, salt, and other spices are also added to enhance the flavor. Guacamole is often used as a dip for tortilla chips, but it can also accompany meats, tacos, or other Mexican dishes. Besides its delicious taste, guacamole is rich in healthy fats from the avocado, making it a nutritious and healthy option to accompany many dishes.
